TLE&W 9752
Just across the Maumee river from Grand Rapids is the tiny village of Providence, Ohio. Here the TLE&W has several more pieces of equipment stored on the former elevator siding. 9752 is one of two Alco switchers serving as a part source to keep a third unit in operational condition.

Ryan Kertis General Nice find! 8/10/2008 3:13:20 PM
Andy Stallard General from what I have heard, 9752 was aquired from conrail but was in bad shape. It did run, once, but not very well. It had a one of a kind notched throttle from PC, and was set up to run multiple unit. The back porch was removed when the trucks were swapped out on #5109. Sad to see it sit, but restoring an S4 is a BIG money project 9/14/2008 1:33:47 AM
