ICG SW14 1476         
Illinois Central Gulf SW14 1476 was parked on an industrial spur at the intersection of Earhart Boulevard and South Dupree Street, near New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal. The locomotive had been built in July 1951 as SW9 9463, was renumbered 463 in 1959 and rebuilt into the 1476 in 1981. Its frame number was confirmed as 4093-34.

Michael Palmieri General You are correct. The engine is in the curve between Earhart, on the left, and South Dupre, on the right. (Dupre is two streets from Broad and five from Jeff Davis.) This track ran along the side of South Dupre towards I-10, and a network of connecting tracks served several customers in the area bounded by I-10, South Broad, Earhart and Jeff Davis. 12/29/2009 1:10:50 PM
