| Railroad Model Craftsman magazine published a "how-to" feature on railroad structures like sandhouses, etc., many years ago. This set of structures looks like a much smaller operation. I don't know what was insde the two gray buildings but the middle, red-painted building, has, perhaps, more or less the same function as the sand storage building of the article. If any of you have additional information, please share it with us if at all possible. At the time I took this photo, 8/1987, there was still a track in front of these buildings but it's just barely visible. |
