CRIP 0-6-0 #284 - Rock Island  Contributor's Pick!       
Good looking example of an Alco-Pittsburgh 0-6-0 switcher built to the USRA standards in January of 1919. It was classified as an S-33 locomotive. According to Guide to N.A. Steam Locomotives, this loco was scrapped in 1953. Specs - 52" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 165,000 lb, tractive effort of 40,368 lb. Colin Menzies III photo
