CNJ 0-8-0C #275 - Central RR of New Jersey  Contributor's Pick!
Caught standing in an unidentified yard ( possibly Bethlehem, PA) is this Alco-Schenectady 0-8-0 camelback switcher was built in December of 1913 as CNJ 275. Thanks to the research efforts of Chuck Zeiler, we have few more details about this unique loco. It was reclassified as an E1 in 1919 and again in 1945 as class 8553. The loco was finally sold for scrap in May of 1952. Thanks, Chuck, for the info! Edward H. Weber photo credit.
