This photo documents the transformation of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3750 (original cab number painted-over) into engine #1737 (newly-affixed numbered keystone on smokebox). #3750 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata as number "3750" during March of 1920, renumbered "1737" in 1956, and currently on display as number "3750" at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg.
