As the train accelerated from its roll by inspection, CSS 2004 let out lots of smoke.
This unit is the accidental heritage unit, since it was repainted from the old CSS orange into a new coat of that paint because the repaint was contracted out and the contractor did not realize CSS had changed their freight scheme, so they simply gave it a new coat of the paint it already had, thus creating the accidental heritage unit.

Sadly, this was the best view I could get of the Geeps.
I was not expecting to find the CSS heading into Stillwell instead of out of it, thus I waited until I could hear the horn to head to the crossing, and so I missed getting an up close shot of it.
On this day I was actually just going for a bike ride, and I knew that the route I was taking would pass over the CSS, but with so little traffic I didnt expect to see anything. I did. it was the local with CSS 2004 leading and CSS 2001 trailing.
I was just heading out of the house on August 1st, when I saw the CSS local heading towards LaPorte. Despite not having my camcorder, I decided this was an opportunity to test out chasing the local into town. I managed to catch up to them at the crossing over state road 4. Consist was 2010 leading and 2004 trailing.

The CSS job has pulled out of Kirk, hung a left at Stockton, and hung another left at Dune, now easing towards the CSX interchange eastbound at 1020.
